  I came to visit Chicago at the beginning of the worst summer heat, and didn't realize until I left that my AC was running really badly. On the last day of my drive I found Erazo here on RepairPal. When I called they said I could come in the very next morning. When I arrived they were very courteous, took my car right in and got it fixed up in less than 30 minutes.

  As an out-of-town visitor with an urgent repair need, I knew I was in a vulnerable spot, so what was especially notable for me was what didn't happen when I went to Erazo. They didn't lie to me about what they could do - instead they were right up front in saying they could check the AC and replace the coolant but couldn't do major repairs. They didn't rip me off - instead they charged less than a major maintenance chain would have, and significantly less than the RepairPal estimated cost. They didn't charge me to look at the problem - instead they asked me careful questions to make sure it made sense for them to look at it at all, and after they looked at it they explained what they had found and asked my approval to do the work, at the price they had quoted the day before. They didn't go looking for problems in a car I knew to be in good shape from my trusted hometown mechanic. Finally they didn't treat me like a quick buck to be made - instead they treated me like they wanted to have me come again as a customer. They checked the tires and oil as a matter of course, topped the oil off without charge, and walked me to my car, engine running and the blessedly cold air blasting away. I would go to them again in a heartbeat, and if I lived here I would take all the business I could to them.

  I recently needed some new struts and this shop put them in. I really like their friendliness and honesty. I know they were being honest, cause another shop told me I needed something else and this shop told me I didn't need to have that done yet. They could of told me I needed it just to get my business. I appreciate this honesty since I have to watch every dollar I spend. Now i am recommending them to all my friends!!!

  The managers of this shop greeted me courteously as I entered and where quick to diagnose the problem with my car. They were fast to fix my car and they showed me the old parts that they replaced. The price was very reasonable and they explained where it came from. I was very satisfied with their service. I recommend them to everyone.
