2001 Chrysler 300M Question: equalizier lights flashing....but....no radio

cindi engebretson, 3.5L V6, Clintonville, WI, August 24, 2010, 16:24

This is the 1st time this has happened. Car battery went dead and as a result no radio, even though equalizer lights are flashing. I heard there is a security code that must be reinstalled when the vehicle looses power from a dead battery.

Your description sounds like the Radio it's self is defective. Chrysler dealerships have a radio exchange program.

    Potential Causes:
    Tech Tips:
Chrysler engineers think this happens if the battery is replaced with the key in the "ON" position or if the vehicle is jump started incorrectly.
