This is a mixed review. The first person (later I found out it was the manager) I spoke to over the telephone told me exactly which part he was going to place on my 2002 Toyota Solara. I researched the part, found out the difference in after market parts, and called back to explain I thought the part he selected was insufficient and listed the reasons why.
I got an appointment right away and took my car in.
I waited on the car while they worked. The mechanic talked to the manager several times throughout the time I was there. He didn't get back to me during the process, but I knew all was not the way it should be. By the end of a 2 to 3 hour visit, the manager said he had the wrong part and he'd have to order the after market part I indicated that was California legal (it was 49 out of 50 times shot that he was right and a 1 out of 50 times shot that I was right) part for the next day. We wasted one day for the discrepancy.
The next day another office worker called me telling me that the California legal after market part would not work either. I needed a OEM Toyota part. I decided I'd find a cheaper OEM part than the local Toyota dealer.
I winded up paying for 2 hours labor and screws/pans to replace the rusted parts my car needed to replace, but they put the car back together without the work completed because it cost twice as much as the initial estimate.
The second guy who worked with the mechanic was honest and straight forward. The manager failed to heed my initial concerns and stretched this process out.
When I finally order the right part and can afford to pay the shop for the work, I hesitate over choosing them again because they didn't listen when they should have.
