eng.light on 1995 Lexus GS300

I had the light checked and the code was p0071 a temp sen question if i replace this would the light go off or could this code be a number of things.

I suggest you have someone else read the codes. There is no P0071 code for your vehicle.

Mr.part guy their is a such code I call the lexus part shop to look up the code thats how I got the part name just hate to replace it and the light dont go off..

Po115 I think is trouble code for faulty coolant temperature sensor. For free basic Toyota/Lexus information look at http://www.autoshop101.com/ look on the left side of the page for technical articles. It's great information to understand the theory involved. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars..
