why would engine light remain on after replacing denso air/fuel sensor

Disconnect the battery and wait about a minute and reconnect the battery. This should reset the old code after the replacement you made.

You are wrong answer 1. 2lexus what are the trouble codes. Let me guess, you took it to a parts house, they scanned it and sold you a AFR sensor. I'm sure it was real cheap. What are the codes?

the code was not cleared properly or there is a circuit issue not a sensor issue. disc battery will NOT work as stated. it needs to be cleared with a scanner
