Engine wont start on 1999 GMC Savana 3500

This van has a sercruity system of some kind that keeps it from starting.When the light is flashing on the dash its not going to start. this happens once every two weeks. I have owned this van 10 years. I would like to disconect or by pass this system. Is this possiable. Thanks

The factory anti-theft system is built in to the computer system on this van. Why not have a good shop scan the engine computer, the body computer etc to find the code and fix the problem? It could just be a worn key or the transducer that goes around the ignition lock etc. A good shop should be able to isolate the problem, I have fixed these problems several times and I mentioned the 2 most common problems i.e. key and transducer. here are some shops: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=76247&car_brand_names=GMC

checked fuel pressure...power to the coil/icm/cam sensor/switch the crank sensor with a working one.no spark from the coil.any help...looking in to changing the computer
