Question: engine wont shut off

Rookie
I started my car this morning to defrost but when i went to turn it offthe key would not turn but would remove fromthe igniton barrel.I had to stall the car to turn of the engain but all the dash lights was on.Also the red alarm light on the centre consol does not flash anymore.I have had to take of the battery to stop it from draining.Please can you help ?

MasterThis sounds like you have a bad ignition switch, but if you can't make that determination, then take it to a shop so it can be checked out.
