I had recently replaced the fuel filter and fuel pump on my 93 amigo, 2.6l. The engine will run for about 30 seconds and stop, not starting at all after that. If I let it sit for awhile it will do the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. It hasn't jumped timing, it runs perfectly for about 30 second. I can push the accelerator and it will tach up normally, idle normally then cut out. The relay is good, don't know what could be wrong.

1993 Isuzu Amigo Question: Engine won't run

Need to see what your Amigo is losing. Is it losing fuel pressure or spark? Also check the codes. When you start it have some one listen to the fuel pump, does it stop running and that is why it dies? And when you are cranking it, does the fuel pump run? If the fuel pump does not, then check the fuel pump relay to see if it is triggering the fuel pump, if not then trace back from there. These are a few of the steps I take, when I inspect these types of problems.
