2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Question: engine will not turn over after spark plug and valve cover gasket change

Visitor, 3.5L V6, Morrison, CO, March 29, 2011, 12:10

I changed the spark plugs and valve cover gaskets on my montero sport and it will not start up again. The interior gets power but the engine will not turn over. I don't know where to start looking because I am not sure what step I could have missed putting the intake back on.

    does it crank?? check for any ground wires that may have been left off.

    i would look hard for any ground wires that you may have missed. there are several that you may have touched and need to be connected and be tight.

    I looked harder and found that I missed connecting a wire that attaches to the battery from the starter, everything works great now!
