Engine will not turn over on 2002 Ford Ranger

Engine will not turn over. Truck has a new battery in it, I checked the cables and both are in excellent shape. Cleaned ground cable at engine block, and positive at starter. Can put a jump wire on starter and will work. Clutch switch looks ok, but could this be tested some way to make sure?

If you don't have a meter or testlight, you could bypass the clutch switch with a wire. If that's OK, you need to check the check for power at the various parts of the starting system. If you get stumped, take it to an auto electric shop or a Ford specialist. Here's a directory link for you: https://repairpal.com/directory?address=75090&car_brand_names=Ford
