1992 Ford Aerostar Question: engine warning indicator light on

 Rookie

I just bought a 92 aerostar 3.0l and the engine light is coming on I put oil in it bc it was a quart low but light still coming on.Can a power steering problem enable the engine to come on?

    Your overflow radiator coolant bottle needs to be about half full. If you are down near the minimum level the light will come on at road speeds of 60 mph. CHECK ENGINE OIL light is a separate issue and is solved by bringing the engine oil level up above the minimum mark..
