Question: ENGINE TURNS OVER BUT WON'T START

I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND ENGINE DIED . I HAVE REPLACED THE COIL , THE IGNITION MODULE IN THE DISTRIBUTOR AND THE ENGINE COMPUTER MODULE BUT IT STILL WON'T START .

    I advise to check the Fuel Pump Operation. Check the fuel pressure and fuel volume. Just because you can hear the pump running does not mean that it is working.Itf the pressure and Volume is OK, Check the Crank Position sensor. Other commonly overlooked items are the timing belt and engine wiring harness and connectors as a vehicle 18 years old can have many wiring issues.

    1998 dodge ram 1500 i had this same problem. Was a cam position sensor... $89 part and $100 labor..

    Like yourself, I have the same problem, but I torn the engine down only to find my timing chain intact. so, I, too will be watching for an answer. Good Luck

    my problem too.it run for 5 min then die. start when get cold.already change fuel pump, filter. still not working.any idea pls.
