1990 Jeep Wrangler Q&A
1990 Jeep Wrangler Question: Engine turns over but won't crank
I have an 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ, 4.2, manual tran. Was running perfectly down interstate. Came off of the ramp and the motor died and would not start back up. I have fuel from pump, fuel at carb, but intermittent spark coming from spark plug. Tried another coil but still won't crank. Any suggestions? Thanks. - king809m
Commom failures for your car are Ignition Module or Pick-Up Coil. You say you have spark at times, makes me think the oick up coil is more likely causing your problem. - milesauto
