So hard to guess without experiencing the problem first hand. Your car is too new to have this type of problem. Start with the basics. Is the battery secure and the connections clean and tight? When the car stops do the dash lights come on or just go dead? How frequently does this happen? Does it immediately restart and crank and drive normally afterward. Take note if it only happens after you hit a bump take a turn, turn on the air conditioning anything that could help determine what is going on.
Does the Check Engine light come on or stay on when you are driving? If so valuable diagnostic information may be stored in the computer in your car and can be retrieved using a scan tool. I work on a lot of Toyotas and do not see this as a pattern failure.
