Engine Stalls when Coming to a Stop on Mazda 626

If the engine stalls when coming to a stop, check the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) level. Low ATF fluid level can cause the torque converter lock-up to stay on, stalling the engine.

Leaking transmission fluid around filter. After 10 minutes of driving, it starts jumping or slipping hard, will go dead if stopped or slowing down and turning in to drive. Just started jumping today. I don't think I will get it fixed, everyone is complaining about the Mazda transmission.
