Question: engine stalls and shutters

engine shakes.....Then engine shutters and stalls, no check engine light appears until car cuts off. Once car is turned off 5 minutes, it starts right

    Does this only happen from a cold start if so I have seen the idle air control motor under the throttle housing act up this way. After that we would have to duplicate the problem and do some basic diagnostic test to see what is causing the problem.

    No it happens after driving for a while and about every 4-5 weeks. The rough driving and shaking engine is usually for about 2 weeks. Don't know how to dupliate the issue. There is onlly 43,000 miles on the car
