Engine stalls. on 1991 Buick LeSabre

My Le Sabre starts ok initially, but as I'm driving it just quits. No sputter, no warning. Have to pull over, put in Park and it starts again. Speed isnt a factor, it does it on side streets as well as the freeway. And it wont start in Neutral.

I would look at the Crank Shaft Sensor. I used to work in a GM dealership during these years and this was a common problem. The fact that your car won't start in neutral is another issue, it is most likely a problem with your Neutral safety switch. Check for any Check Engine or Service Engine Soon codes, to see if there is a Crank Sensor code.
