engine stallls after running around town on 1997 Jaguar XK8

1997 XK8. Starts fine check engine light is on... said coolant low... filled with coolant, checked windshield washer fluid... was low ...filled has 100076 miles .Purchased last Friday and found all kinds of past service work all good ,even new transmission warranty with unlimited miles. Anyway when it's hot it dies and this last Tuesday 85-90* outside it died ,got it home and it died twice putting it in the garage! Is there a 100k service due ,like Mercedes ($1000) easy . Temp gauge was in the middle ,didn't indicate over heating. I SMELLED GAS WHILE IT WAS RUNNING new transmission@96k mas flow@98k belts/tensioners97k coolant flush,98k Again... I went to about five different places within 5 miles of each other, turned off started went somewhere else, yada yada ,fifth place started and then died drove home died twice message center says "engine stalled" no shit...

if coolant is low check the coolant hose connection with engine. clamp may be loose, leaking the coolant

My cooler indicate as well low coolants, but it was wrong, the censor was damage and I change the expansion tank and after that is sound like it been better. But I do have another problem, the gasoline filter indicate problem and the engine stop, no chance to start again. Need to change the filter and hopefully it will be OK. In my book, to many censors i Jaguar.. to many things who can go wrong. Other cars have less of that, and sound a lot better, less problem. It looks like Jaguar have shares in the factory who produce censors and of that reason fill all the cars with that kind of stuff. No need for it if they build the car up-to-date like other brands do. A very nice car, but it need to run as well, not only stay in the Garage......
