When I start my trooper on cold mornings it squeaks like morris code, loudly under the hood, until it is warm. Runs great and has no heating or cooling problems.
Thank you,
Tom

This may be from the drive belt or a drive belt tensioner. There are also other pulleys and tensioners that can squeak, so it will need to have a diagnosis to determine the source of the noise. Start by removing the drive belt when cold, if the noise i still present, then you just eliminated the belt and anything driven by the belt as the source, and focus on the other items (timing belt/chain tensioners etc.)
If the noise goes away, then I would replace the belt if it shows any signs of cracking or glazing.
