engine sputters while driving on 2006 Nissan Altima

when driving on freeway the engine cuts in and out. Like you are about out of gas even with a full tank. Any ideas????

very common issue is crank sensor.scan codes and see if there are any codes

Agree with both answers! Also call dealer with your vehicle ID number to see if it has a recall pending. IF so get that done first (free)!!

There has been a reccall on this vehicle that someone needs to check into. It is for the crankshaft sensor!!
