Coolant or oil is leaking onto the exhaust system. I would have it checked soon, and drive it as little as possible, because if it's oil it can catch fire, so be very careful. - Bret Bodas

Most probable .. oil leak dripping on exhaust, possible coolant or transmission fluid dripping onto exhaust. All are flammable. Recommend repair as soon as possible. - Visitor
More than likely an oil leak. I wouldn't recommend driving it, tow it to a mechanic and have them inspect the vehicle as soon as you can. - FLEMINGS
