2007 Chrysler Aspen Question: Engine shuts off

This week my aspen has cut off at around 15mph, I lose the steering lights eveything almost caused a huge accident.At the same time my transmission surges at slow speeds. Any help would greatly be appriciated

    The best help we can give is to advise you take this to a shop that can diagnose the problem. You're looking at 1-2 hours of diagnosis to find the problem.

    I had a problem like that, my Aspen would randomly rev. and surge, did shut down a couple times too. Dodge dealer put it on the diagnostics a couple times, and could find nothing, as it wouldnt do it all the time. Turns out it was the throttle sensor had to be replaced.
