engine shaking on 2005 Ford Taurus

engine overheated last night and there was no coolant. so i added water. and not the engine shaes. i checked the water again this morning and there is no water.

The engine has lost coolant, do you see it leaking out any where? I suspect the rough running and engine shaking may be due to blown head gasket. When you start the engine do so see steam or white smoke coming from the exhaust tail pipe?
