My car went low on oil and my engine stop running. I have had my alternator check, starter checked, and battery checkedi all seems to be fine. While I was driving the oil filter Came loose and the oil came out got onto the engine. My engine will not turn over and the engine seized. How can I unseized my engine? Is it expensive to get it repair? Pplease advise, thank you.

    Vincent,

I am afraid to tell you the bad news - if your engine lost all the oil, and if it's seized -- you simply must replace the engine assembly. A seized engine will yield few - if any - reusable parts. Obtain a quote on a used engine (with warranty), or a remanufactured engine from multiple available sources.

The best thing you could do, though, is seek assistance through a reputable shop that you can trust. They will be able to lead you down the path of a few different choices on how to rectify your problem with engine replacements.

Of course, it may also be a good time to get something new...but that's going to be for you to mull over.

    Good luck, sir,
    -Dave
