2002 Nissan Frontier Question: ENGINE REAR MAIN SEAL REPLACEMENT

DOES THE ENGINE HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO REPLACE REAR MAIN OIL SEAL? IF SO IS THIS ESTIMATE I RECEIVED FOR THAT? JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW MANY HOURS IT TAKES APPROXIMATELY TO MAKE SURE I'M NOT GETTIN RIPPED OFF.

    You generally have to remove just the transmission, however on some vehicles it can be easier to remove the engine or the engine/transmission together. On this vehicle it looks to be about a 7 hour job, which in your area is around $700 in labor.
