Leaving WalMart on side road, I slowed for stop sign, my engine quit dead and the doorlocks had automatically locked. I tried the door handle but could not budge it. We were locked in and couldn't get out. In about two minutes, power came back on inside and I was able to open the doors. Has this ever happened to anyone elso? Is there a way to get out in case of a fire? Joe in Mobile

I have not heard of this before but am not a specialist in Buicks. I would phone several Buick dealers and ask them if they have seen this before. I think this is asfety issue, what if you had become involved in an accident with a stalled vehicle and you and your family could not get out of the car. I would file a report or contact the national highway transport bureau and file a complaint they will investigate it. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/

MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LEFT INSIDE A HONDA ACCORD BY A SALESMAN. WHEN HE DIDN'T RETURN WE DECIDED TO LEAVE THE CAR. THE DOORS WERE LOCKED AND WE COULDN'T GET OUT. AFTER TWO OR THREE MINUTES WE CAUGHT THE ATTENTION OF ANOTHER SALESMAN ACROSS THE LOT. HE WAS ABLE TO UNLOCK THE CAR WITH HIS REMOTE. HE SAID THERE WAS A WAY TO GET OUT, BUT WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW.
