MasterEven if the Check Engine Light is not on information can be stored in the computer in your car related to the racing, surging idle. All the sensors that effect the way the engine runs can be monitored from a good scan tool. Racing idle can be caused by incorrect coolant level, vacuum leaks.
There is a problem with the wiring harness in the engine compartment (Kia have a Service Bulletin about it)but it usually sets other trouble codes.Flag ThisLike | 1 person likes this1
