You definitely have an over heating problem but finding the source is a bit complex. You need to scan the computer to see if the cooling fan is coming on when either the A/C or Defroster is turned on, there needs to be a flow test of the radiator and water pump. Is the water pump or anything else leaking? And yes if the thermostat is over 60k, it needs to be changed. How clear is the coolant or is it dirty? That can plug up the radiator and coolant jackets in the engine which can cause an over heat. Is the A/C condenser in front of the radiator clear of debris to allow proper air flow. Is there any type hood bra? That can hinder air flow and cause an over heat.
These are a few of the things to inspect for an over heat. If all of these check out then perform a chemical block check to see if the head gasket or gaskets are leaking. Best of Luck

you need a new spark plug to your motor blower, or a new motor blower.
