Two days ago the H3 was making a chirping sound. Yesterday, water was in my garage. I was driving home from the commuter lot and I got a message saying A/C off, engine hot. The thermostat was on all the way on the H. I was only a mile from home. When I got in garage, smoke was coming out when I opened the hood. My husband thinks it could be the water pump. Does that sound right?

MasterIt could be the water pump, it could be a coolant leak somewhere else in the cooling system. It's a really big problem, and you'll need to take the car in to a shop for repair and hope that the overheating didn't do too much damage to the engine. You'll probably want to have it towed to the shop.
