I accelerate. The oil level is at the full mark and the car runs fine. I think it may be the pressure sensor but not sure if I should drive like that.

    either your pressure sensor or your oil pump is gone. There is an off chance that the oil pressure sender has gone out of calibration and is turning on the light prematurely, but this is rare. The correct way to check this, would be to hook up an oil pressure gauge and let the engine get hot, then compare the readings against specs.

    I also agree.If it's a bad pump, or the screen has clogged on the pump from not doing timely oil changes,major damage may be happening.Test oil pressure.
