2002 Chevrolet Tahoe Q&A

2002 Chevrolet Tahoe Question: engine noise

what would cause a high pitched squeal when accelerating? -
Answer 1
This is typically caused by glazed/slipping drive belts. Have your belts and tensioners checked for wear and proper operation. There also may be something leaking on your belts, like coolant, which will make them squeal. -
Answer 2
a high pitched squeal under hard accel or aggresive driving can be caused by a timid spouse. try driving without her. (just kidding) dandd is most likely right. -
Answer 3
also check ur wheel bearings( raise the car and check if the wheels wiggle or have "play" from the hub) -
