2005 Kia Sedona Q&A

2005 Kia Sedona Question: Engine Noise

I have a 2005 Sedona, the engine has a noise coming from the pulley side of the engine. It sounds like it is coming from one of the pulley's. We had a mechanic look at it last year before the noise started and said that the A/C compressor bracket was part of a recall and might start making noise. To me it sounds like a bad bearing on one of the pulley's. Is there somewhere on-line to get an engine manual for the belt and pulley lay out. Thanks for the help in advance. -

Well if your a.c. compressor goes out it can make an awful noise on that pulley. Replace compressor if a.c. does not work or buy a drive belt that bypasses that pulley-these are easy to find and cost around $20. -
