Question: engine missfires or knocks

engine missfires often,seems to be temperature or weather related.sometimes it runs and shifts perfectly and at other times it does not. but it seems to be temperature related.

    Start with base ignition items - spark plugs & wires. Ignition wires that are leaking spark intermittently could vary that leakage due to temperature and weather.

    An engine performance diagnostic test should really be performed.
