According to the Service Manual, #2 cylinder is in the front bank of cylinders and is closest to the water pump.
As for what to do next, I would do a compression test to make sure that the cylinder has decent compression ( at least 140-150 psi ) Verify your parts by switching 1 plug and 1 wire with # 2, to make sure that your parts are working, I have seen Techs spend 5-6 hours on a problem, when they ASSUME the new part is working, and this was at Dealerships.
Then make sure that the injector is working and look for a vacuum leak near that cylinder. These are some of things that I would try next, AND don't rule out a defective coil pack.
