If the fluid level was low and the pick up for the fuel was unable to get fuel or was sucking air and fuel because of the angle the car was at I suppose the car would fail to start and the Check Engine Light would come on. The Check Engine Light will go out if it was a problem the computer only saw once, the engine saw the same criteria twice without a fault it will turn off the Check Engine Light its self naturally. I would rather use a scan tool and know what the code was for just for peace of mind.
