Question: Engine light on

 Rookie

Car was missing so change plugs and wire already. It sort of sounds like a vacumn leak. How do I check the problem

  You need to check the diagnostic codes in the engine computer, otherwise your just guessing as to what might be happening, and the check engine light can come on for hundreds of reasons, here are some of the codes that can be set: http://repairpal.com/obd-II-code-chart
