2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara

Question: Engine Light.

 Rookie

I was checking a dome fuse which I suspected to to burnt out while my engine was running. When I replaced the fuse my engine light came on steady...not blinking and will not go out. Have I possibly done more damage to the emissions control? Or has the light came on due to me not changing the fuse with he engine off. I have not retrieved a code for the problem yet.

  I would retrieve the code, and see what it is related to. You may have cut off power to a sensor while the engine was running, so you may want to reset the code, make sure the fuses are OK and see if the check engine light comes back on.
