Question: Engine drive belt on right side of engine?

I see a serpentine type belt under a cover on the right side of the motor.
Purpose?(appears cams are chaindriven on the left side) I think that PM would indicate replacement-my car has 148K on it and I want to keep it going strong.

    I believe it turns the water pump on the rear of the engine, which is an unusual configuration, though not unique to Ford.

    That would be your water pump belt which is a mini serpentine belt
