Question: Engine does not stop after turning off

Rookie

Car starts and runs fine but the engine does not stop when you turn the key off. Just started this morning car has around 75,000 miles. Its my daughters car and I'm thinking either ignition switch, a module or lock cylinder/

sounds like you have a pwr feed back issue,i rec you seek a mech opinion on this to save time

Thanks for the advice. The car/daughter are in Illinois and I am in Florida. Fortunately, she has some friends that are mechanics.

you need a diagnostic service done to find out what is wrong.

Thanks for the suggestion. With a 1995 I think a diagnostic service will help only while the problem is occurring. I believe Auto Zone will do this for free?
