Question: engine damage immediately following oil change

car has 20,000 miles and ran fine
had scheduled oil change at local lube
car would not start battery good
car had to be towed to ford dealership

    What was damaged after the oil change? Did they forget to tighten the drain plug or oil filter, or put an insufficient amount of oil in the engine? Sorry you had this problem. Some quick lube places just don't have competent people but it takes one bad employee to give any shop a bad name.
