Question: Engine Coolant Message

I keep getting a message to check the coolant but when I do it is not low, I have checked it when it is cool and when it is running. The indicator drops significantly when running though. The temperature gage does not go above the
half way mark either. Help

    The Sensor in the Coolant Reserve Bottles do fail, so I would start by replacing the Sensor with a new factory unit. The part costs about $35.00.
