my car idles up and down on its own and sometimes kills and i seem to have miss fire but replaced plugs coil packing and wires is this a sign control module is bad

   Master

  no, it most likey is the idale air control motor on top. it seizes from carbon deposits and cause this type is condition. have it checked to verify. it is a simple repair.

  no check engine light, erroneous codes, no starts and other symtoms that are intermittient. that diag is determined by a good tech with the assistance of a scan tool and volt meter.
