Bret Bodas from RepairPal Test Shop, April 21, 2010, 08:40ReplyMasterThis system is known for having issues with the air pump check valve, and when it fails it allows moisture to contaminate the air pump too, so it's likely both will need replacement. You'll want to take this to a Volvo shop, they will be very familiar with this issue.
