2004 Mazda Tribute Question: engine barley runs after tune up

 Rookie

i replaced all 6 plugs on my friends 04 tribute 3.0l. the engine barely ran. i put new upper intake gaskets on it and now it its runs but i have a clyinder misfire on cylinders 4 and 6. the coils were replaced and are firing but plugs are soaked with gas. im absolutly stumped. any help would be great

    you'll need to see if those 2 cylinders is getting strong fire

    Perhaps check that engine compression is even (always start with the basics). Autozone have some popular workshop manuals for free on line once you register (for free) on their website http://bit.ly/autozone_repair_info. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....     thank you, i also forgot to mention that the ran perfectly before the installation of the plugs. it it a possibility that the upper or lower intakes could have been cracked and if so would a vacuum leak cause my misfire
