engine on 1995 Mitsubishi Galant

engine starts for about two seconds and cuts off- went from driving just fine to would not stary cranked.

You need to have the computer system scanned for codes and then if that does not show anything that is helpful you need to have the engine performance system carefully inspected the fact that the car cars will start, but won't stay running. It could be an idle air control motor problem an, a vacuum hose that split, a bad Crank Sensor or many, many other things.
