engine on 1992 Plymouth Voyager

how would i know if my ignition coil has fail and how would i go about checkng to see if i'm getting any spark from my wires?

You will want to remove a spark plug, connect it to the wire/coil, ground the threads of the plug to the engine and crank over the engine, you should see a spark from the plug. Be real careful doing this test, otherwise you'll get shocked. You can also pull the coil wire from the distributor and hold it about 1/8" away from the engine block and crank the engine over, see if your getting spark to the distributor cap.
