I had a mechanic fix the brakes a while back now the Emergency Brake light won't go off, went back to the mechanic four different times said they replaced everything and still couldn't fix it... I'm frustrated and I think they are morons there must be something I can do but I don't know much about trucks. Sometimes when it's cold in the mornings or when it's raining outside the light will go off for a few minutes but that gleaming red demon of an icon always comes back. Any ideas?

Yes, check your ABS system and scan it for codes. You may have a hydraulic issue or the ABS system needs to be re-set after the brake work. ( common ) How do your brakes feel? Also check the adjustment for your parking brake switch for the parking brake pedal. Does it release as it should? if this does not help, take your truck to a more skilled shop because your brake are nothing to wonder about or worry about.
