I remotely started my Caravan this morning. Radio and fan were working when I got in. I then started it with the key and the radio and fan shut off. When I touched the brake, I heard a "click" under the dash and they came on again only to go off again 10 seconds later. This continued for about 10 minutes and then returned to normal. I had spray washed it the day before and the temperature was about -25 C ( -5 F) overnight. Could this be an icing problem?? Motor ran normally during this time. Never happened before and I wash it regularly. Anyone else ever experience this??? Thanks!!! I had to use a North Dakota zip as the site won't accept a Canadian postal code, R0E 0B0, Manitoba.

Sounds like a wiring issue related to the remote starter feature. No knowing if this is an aftermarket remote starter, I suggest you take your vehicle to your local dealership for inspection. http://repairpal.com/directory?address=58201&car_brand_na...

Thanks J.M. It happened for 2 days, then I left it idling in the driveway for 45 minutes to evaporate any ice/water. Hasn't done it since. I had the Command Start installed when the van was new; this was the first time in over 5 years that it happened, so that's why I thought of a moisture problem in the wiring.
