Mercedes-Benz ML350 The Door Locks May Cycle Rapidly

(48 reports)

Electrical switches in the door latches can fail, causing the door locks to rapidly actuate up and down multiple times when the locks are activated by either the keyless remote or door lock switch. The affected door latch should be replaced to correct this concern.

On my 2003 ML350 the passenger front door fires several times and then fails to lock. You can't even lock the door manually which is a safety concern. We couldn't get it fixed because shops were closed and we couldn't leave Christmas presents in car because we were afraid someone would steal them. -
