Question: electrical problem

 Rookie

recently on a trip smoke came out of the rear passenger door. radio was on. speaker cover melted and some warping of door panel. what could cause this? no known blown fuses.

  I would remove the door panel, or the speaker and see if there is some wiring that may have shorted out, or if the speaker shorted out.
